GM: New Concepts A Shot In The Dark?

The Converj by Cadillac shows that electric vehicles can still be luxurious.

Anticipation on how General Motors seeks to spend its government “buy out” money has resulted in some quick working employee’s who certainly did not let down.

As a huge fan of the Volt and have followed its progress thus far, I don’ t think it’s much surprise that I love the way the Converj(shown above) looks. The futuristic while still down to earth design combined with the class behind the logo of a Cadillac may just be what GM needs to get ahead in the market.

Cutting edge interior design went into the Converj.

Pentagon announces no more F-22 jets/presidental choppers.

: F-22 Raptor fighter jet prepares to take-off.

Robert Gates, United States Defense Secretary, announced Monday that the Pentagon will be ending the F-22 fighter jet as well as the White House’s helicopters. He also indicated that while the production of F-22s is on halt that the Joint Strike Fighters would show an increase in production.

The F-22 jet fighter was built mainly for the Cold War and while being a wonderful and innovative radar evasive jet, overtime has simply become obsolete. F-22s cost about $140 million dollars each to make.

The new White House helicopters that were cancelled show an effort to save money in the United State’s sinking economy. The helicopters planned originally would’ve costed an estimated $13 billion dollars.
